You would not want to sit on this chair as it is fragile, but it certainly is a beautiful object to set in a room, and admire. It was found in Muskoka, Ontario, made mid 20th century, and appears to be influenced in design by the work of Italian designer Umberto Bugatti. It appears to be "all there" except for the top part of the blocky bit of trim on the front, right bottom. It may have also lost a little off the bottom of the legs, but I am not certain of this. Lots of beautiful detail in the carving. 45"t, 24"d, 30"w.
