Brother Andre lived from 1845 - 1937, and is primarily noted as a miraculous healer of thousands, and founder and driving force behind the building of the famously beautiful St. Joseph's Oratory on Mount Royal in Montreal. Nearly a million people came to his funeral. This plaque with a bronze image of the priest is from the 1st quarter of the 20th century. It is mounted on walnut. No label. 9" x 12"
