Listed in several books on Canadian folk art, by all accounts, George Cocayne led a lonely and difficult life on his farm near Madoc, in Prince Edward County, Ontario. 1906-1976. He made a wide variety of strange creatures including this two headed bug. Hi carvings are rarely available. Carved and enamel painted wood. 25"long, *"wide, 10" tall.
