From Nova Scotia. Circa 1820. Stretcher based tavern table in early, as found paint. The top is original and untouched. The base green may have been applied a bit later but still a long time ago (perhaps c1880). The black detailing on the base looks a bit newer to me, but I could be wrong. Check it out for yourself in the attached picture. In any case, it looks great, and is all original in terms of construction. A beautiful early form. Top dimension is 28"x 45". Height to the top is 28"
