This is an interesting older piece from Quebec. The original white paint has taken on the patina of ivory. Notice the interesting details like the hoof prints in the field, and the turning back of the sod. There are old mends to the plow and horse, but it's not distracting, or missing anything. At times I think I recognize the maker based on the form of the man, but I can't yet put my finger on it. If anyone knows I would appreciate a note. There is felt on the bottom and I have been tempted to remove it to see f it is signed but I resist that sort of thing. 22" wide. 9" deep. 5" tall.
